Due to recent events our executive committee has released the following statement.
West Denton Junior Football Club as a whole has never and will never discriminate against any person. For over 30 years we have provided an opportunity for all children to play football no matter of race, sex, religion, sexual orientation or disability and continuing to do this remains the most important reason for our existence. Although this is fundamental in our foundations, so are our club rules and codes of conduct and we stand side by side with our local county and national F.A on good and bad practice and behaviour in football. ALL players, coaches and parents of West Denton Junior Football Club agree to these codes of conduct and club rules and EVERYONE is expected to uphold them. Any breach of these can ultimately lead to exclusion from the football club and in extreme circumstances from football altogether by the F.A. The executive committee never takes a decision to exclude someone lightly and is often taking after repeat behavioural issues or extremely poor practice/behaviour. This again is the case for everyone at our football club and the committee NEVER uses a person's sex, race, religion, sexual orientation or disability when making these decisions. We hope this statement helps to clarify how our club will not tolerate nor partake in discrimination of any form. If you wish to discuss this statement or have any questions regarding our club then please contact our Club Welfare officer on07717467035 or email@example.com.
